Desperate
Some of you probably saw me making this in class. It's a screen shot form the new tomb raider game that I edited in photoshop.

Inspirational Music
I find it very hard to work sometimes without having some music going on (which I'm sure you all can relate). Music is a powerful tool that I use to generate feelings that I put into my art work. And I'm not so biased towards what I listen too (except bluegrass and country). Rock, R&B, Oriental, Celtic, all of these forms of music invoke certain feelings which help me to focus my creativity. I also don't like to limit music just because of it's association with a certain form of entertainment. Take video game music for example, it's come a long way from the limited digital sounds that it started with. There a lot of games out there with beautiful soundtracks, such as Final Fantasy or Resident Evil.
Here's today's song that inspired me while researching color theory:

Which One Is Plagiarized?
A little assignment I did for my upcoming presentation on plagiarism in GD121. I just traced over his copied and recolored it in Illustrator.

Dreamweaver. Is. AWESOME.
I bought the whole CS5 design premium a couple of weeks ago and so far I've only used 10% of it. Wanting to make the most out of my purchase, I looked some tutorials on how to use dreamweaver. The site I've found most useful to me is thesitewizard.com. After just a day of searching through this site I already have a domain name complete with a functional website. I hope to, by the end of the week, have a complete online portfolio up.

Artist Statement for Layouts
I decided to have each layout specify a specific age group such as teens and middle aged adults. My first layout, Winter Extreme, was geared more towards teens and young adults. I thought a vector type theme would appeal the most to this audience. My next layout, Fun For All All For Fun, was, as the title implies, geared towards all ages. For this I thought simple layout and colors with some fun text would work. For my last, Winter Retreat, I tried a more formal and stylish design that would appeal to older adults. I used different variations of blue and a little bit of red to make certain elements pop.
Mount Rainier Finals
A little disappointed in how they turned out due to time constraints but here there they are nonetheless.
